God says first things first!  You will not experience the fullness of "abundant life" and promises of God without the foundation of first fruits.  It is prioritizing His presence in your life.  It's the order and accurate arrangement of things.  The principle of first fruits provides the foundation and structure for God's blessings in your life.

As you prepare for 2012, start your pattern for success to BREAK IT OUT with "First Things First"...!

God has an order and a plan for you.  To be in harmony with the will of God and attain the highest state of purpose for your life, you must follow God's precepts.  If you fail to keep God first, your life can become out of balance and out of order.

Many precious believers have bypassed and overlooked the principle of first fruits in God's Word, perhaps not intentionally but unknowingly.  If it's important to God, it must be important to us!  God is the only One who has the power to give wealth, which is the word of wholeness that is nothing missing and nothing broken, and blessings -- that is a life of empowerment.  But it is exciting to know that He has given us the knowledge we need to receive those blessings.  His truths are available to you.  His commands and blessings are outlined in God's Word for all who will search them out to see.

All that God creates is "perfect," including you!  You were created with God-intended position and purpose.  That intentiom will not change.  In other words, as a surrendered, yielded life, if something is not supposed to be a part of your destiny, it will not be.  You cannot lose what is suppose to be a part of your destiny and you cannot keep what is NOT a part of it.

Proverbs 19:21 reminds us that, "many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."  What waste of time, energy and talent when God's ultimate intention will always succeed!

When you are whole and in alignment with God, you can experience peace, joy, restoration, love, a right mind, freedom and liberation.  And you should have enough resources to do everything that God has assigned in your life and called you to do.

The key is to align yourself with the patterns of God.  His principles were established long before man ever had a revelation or a vision of them.  They are unchanging...  God's principles propel you into His promises!

A new beginning awaits us if we let the old/outer man die and allow the new/inner man to rise because it is the inner man that delights in God.  Most of us fear death of any kind, literally or figuratively, because we have doubt that there will be life after death.  Job lifts up a rhetorical question that reflects his uncertainty about resurrection and restoration.  However, Job follows this statement of uncertainty with a declaration of faith and hope.  Despite what it looked like, Job resolves to wait in faith for as long as was determined by God until his hope was satisfied.  Job expected change; the old to pass and the new to spring forth and was willing to patiently endure to see it.

We have a promise and the blessed assurance that the old will pass and all things will be renewed, if we are in covenant relationships with Christ.

Those first anointings that occur in our lives are crucial. The decisions that we make. The paths that we take. The lessons we learn with those first anointings hold so much magnitude. Those first few prayers that we pray. Those first few moments of real worship. Those first times that we become involved in spiritual warfare will always be significant to us.

But often after that first anointing, we have to plod the weary path of preparation for God to use us in His Kingdom. Time spent waiting for advancement or for deliverance often seems like lost time. We forget that preparation is demanded for all promotions.

The question needs to be asked to all of us:

Has the world mocked you?
Has the world hurled defiance at the way that you live?
Has the devil not whispered in your ear to give up and quit?

Great people are defined by:

Walking the paths of righteousness.
The strength of their prayers.
Commitment to serving others.
Stumbling blocks becoming stepping stones.
Gaining power from seeming set-backs.
Seeking God rather than position.

Just because victory may have been present yesterday, that does not mean it is assured today. Too often we want the anointing but no battle. Or we want the battle without the anointing, but we must understand that both of them must come together and work together.  Some may find themselves in a time of lukewarm desire for God. But the Lord of the Breakthrough is on the way.

He is the Master of the Breach.
He has the battle in His hand.
He is the strong Tower.
He is the defense.
He is the shield.
He is the refuge.

Once people become comfortable what they have, they no longer are dreamers. They are no longer visionary. They are no longer progressing but rather declining. If you are not moving forward, you are moving backward.
